This is a story about a dog, a cat and having fun. This book is a part of my Early Reader series. I wrote a series of easy to read Early Reader books for children ages 3 to 6 years old to encourage them to learn to read. These books use only very simple words and sight words, and use the same word many times in the story to reinforce learning. Each book is divided into 3 parts; the beginning, the middle and the end. This not only makes it easier for the child to read and understand the book but it is also the stepping stone for being able to write and tell a story as all stories have a beginning, middle and end.For younger children who have a limited attention span the book can be read in sections. Have your child read only section one then either later that day or perhaps the following day they can read section two and then in another setting they can read section three. As their attention span improves they will be able to read the entire book in one setting. Children with longer attention spans will be able to read the entire book in one setting. Once your child has finished reading the book be sure to asked them to tell you what the book was about so you can make sure they understand what they have read.I hope you and your child enjoy this Early Reader book. Early Reader books include:- Where is Nicki?- Me and You- Dog and CatI will be adding addition books soon.
